Faire 2004
This was our first
trip to this event in Jericho VT. We were told that it has run for 14
years and several participants come every year just for the Bratwurst
and saurkraut! We did our puppet show of Noah's Ark and a revised
version of "David and Goliath." We did a little bit of demo work with
the help of a local historical group (formerly SCA) and one Lady
Brunhild helped Temper demonstrate the wards and grapples of Sword
and Buckler. One Patron (Susan) told us she hadn't seen the
swordfight so we did a special show just for her-including playing
second to Temper in a rapier duel! We played after hours with the
steel and would like to thank the folks who let us share their tent.
We were sad to go and would like to thank organizer Jan Steinbauer
for her kindness and hospitality.
