Children's Day Salem
Common
Phoenix Swords did a
performance and gave free sword lessons to kids on October 30th for
"The
Gathering" an event
sponsored by the local Church. We stayed most of the day near the
popcorn and slide (swords/inflatable slide?...hmmmm) and gave two
shows-one of which was Minyon's first public performance of long
sword (the full fight will be seen later this season) The weather was
with us and the kids had a great time. In fact we stayed almost an
hour later than scheduled and still had to explain to kids why we had
to go. :( But everyone recieved our attention and Pastor Phil thanked
us for performing again this year. (and look what we did to our poor
pumpkin...)
