Mystic Realms
2003
It was a wet, rainy
weekend but hearty souls still braved the weather to see the fun and
festivity of Mystic Realm's first-year faire. We did demos, gave
sword lessons, did one stage act and in between we had the
opportunity to play at the faire ourselves. Some members picked up
boffers and surprised folks with how fast swings can be (they weigh a
lot less :) We had a special guest come with us to play-Andy V, from
Higgins Armory
Sword Guild. He
manned our ballista, answered questions, pointed to reference
materials for historical sword fighting and was forced to flirt with
women all weekend. He
barely survived it.

great to visit with all our friends and make new ones with the folks
at Mystic
Realms. We hope that
we'll see them again soon!
